Committee

Chairman

Adrian Gatt is married with three young children.  He is a mechanical engineering graduate working with a local manufacturing company.  He enjoys outdoor activities and would like to see Sliema a better place to live, with cleaner air and more space for recreational purposes, so that young children can grow up safely and happily here.

Vice-Chairman

Chris Vassallo holds an MBA from Henley Management College (Henley-on-Thames, UK) specialising in Corporate Governance, Strategic Management and Leadership.  He is a committee member of the Qui-Si-Sana Residents Association and was a founder member of Flimkien Ghal Ambjent Ahjar.

Secretary

Sandra Attard acts as a Personal Assistant with a German company in their Sliema office.  She was born in Malta, raised overseas and returned to live in Malta 12 years ago.  Sandra loves Malta and living in Sliema but has grave concerns for the wellbeing of its residents.  In her little spare time, Sandra enjoys painting in Art Nouveau style.

Treasurer

Victor Debono lives in Manwel Dimech Street where he suffers fumes from the traffic grinding up the hill to the Police Station junction.  His role as Treasurer is not demanding at present given the low budget that SRA operates with.  SRA banks on local goodwill and common interest more than financial resources!

PRO

Joe Morana is a veteran campaigner having been involved with the Union Haddiema Maghqudin (UHM) for many years including acting as Section Secretary to that large organisation.  He lives in Rudolph Street and works as a Training Coordinator in the Public Service.  Joe has a Masters degree in Training and Human Resources Management.  He supports environmental NGOs, is an ardent campaigner for more responsible traffic management and rides a motorcycle (so reducing his 'carbon footprint' significantly).
