Ferry Information

There is a regular and reliable service between the waterfront of Sliema and the north shore of Valletta seven days a week (weather permitting).  Commuting or shopping by ferry saves the pollution and hassle of driving/parking.

The ferry trip takes about 15 minutes and is a pleasant mini-cruise.  Seating is available under cover or on deck.  Cost is rather higher than the bus service from Sliema to Valletta, but regular travellers may ask for a discount from the operators. Schedule of ferry service is available here

Groups or individuals may wish to book a mini-bus or electric taxi to meet them at the Valletta landing to reach their destination without delay or effort (there is a steep, but short walk up into Valletta).

A horse drawn karrozzin can also be arranged for a tour of Valletta.
