23rd February 2012 - Press Release - Sliema residents urged to use their good judgment in the upcoming Sliema Local Council election
SRA is confident that the Sliema residents will exercise their best judgement in the forthcoming local council election following the disappointment over the last local council. Whilst advising voters to give due consideration to candidates' motives and personal disposition and commitment, SRA wishes the best of luck to one of the indepenedent candidates, Ms Melody Morgan-Busher, a hard working resident with Sliema close at heart, who worked hard on the SRA committee since the inception of the association. 6th February 2012 _ press Release - Overdevelopment at the Gzira end of the Sliema Strand
Following the approval of the MIDI Tigne project of another tower of 102 units and office spaces, another mega project is still looming, which if approved will compromise the wellbeing of Sliema residents as the only gap in the bastion of buildings surrounding Sliema costal perimeter is being threatened to be sealed for ever.
