Volunteering
SRA has identified the following roles and vacancies; anyone with time to assist is urged to contact SRA and offer support:
- Parish contacts to help co-ordinate SRA activities
- Newspaper readers and media watchers
- Researchers to assess public information on the MEPA website and newspapers
- Retired persons with time to attend MEPA committee hearings and appeals so as to note the discussions and decisions delivered
- People able to visit MEPA offices on weekday mornings to review plans of new developments which are of concern
- Historians with articles or lectures highlighting the heritage value of Sliema
- Students to conduct projects modelling the population and development trends of Sliema
- A legal advisor whether practising or retired
- A local architect willing to advise SRA
- Health professionals who can provide informed opinions on health issues affecting Sliema
- Any other helper who may wish to help out in any other way not mentioned above such as translations or administrative work
